Grin Naturals – The Story

I was introduced to Grin Naturals recently by one of the founders, Tara. She passionately detailed how this company was created, and how much care and research have gone into not only the product formulations but the packaging design and manufacturing process.

About 7 years ago Tara and her co-founders were looking into what was in their children’s toothpastes. They were shocked to see that there are several added chemicals. There was not one toothpaste without the extra toxins!

So they set out to make a better, healthier, more sustainably-produced product.

Grin Naturals toothpastes have NO sodium lauryl sulfate, NO added sugar, NO preservatives, NO artificial colors, NO artificial flavors, NO palm oil, NO fragrance, and NO harsh abrasives.

What do they have inside then?

Grin Natural’s toothpastes are made with natural active ingredients:

  • Natural Propolis Extracts
  • Organic Sea Salt
  • Magnolia Bark Extract
  • Natural Hydroxyapatite
  • Organic Aloe Leaf Extract
  • Organic Calendula Oil
  • Manuka Oil Extracts

The children’s toothpastes do not include all the same ingredients as the adult ones, including fluoride, which is peace of mind for me with my toothpaste-swallowing munchkins!

Grin Naturals Toothbrushes

If your family is anything like ours, you go through toothbrushes in a short space of time.

Before hearing about Grin Naturals and their biodegradable toothbrushes, I hadn’t given much thought to the waste we were creating just by taking care of our oral health.

ALL of Grin Naturals toothbrushes, and even the flosses, are biodegradable! The brushes are made from corn starch and bamboo!

It feels so good to know that we are making changes that are not only healthier for our bodies but for the planet as well!

Grin Naturals for Kids!

When I browsed Grin Natural’s website for products for our family, I was excited by the options for our kids.

They have kid-friendly soft toothbrushes in fun, bright colors, they have colorful flossers perfect for little hands, and they have yummy, fluoride-free toothpaste.

But the kicker for me was their 123Grin! challenge to encourage your children to enjoy taking care of their teeth.

We all have enough tantrums from and battles with our kiddos, that we don’t need the twice-daily teeth brushing and flossing to be one of them.

What is the 123Grin! Challenge? See below!

Kids love sticker reward charts.

And this one is no exception! Your kids will be thrilled to earn stickers to place on the windy path to the finish line. Plus, the chart is resuable!

Now, don’t just take my word for it — Grin Naturals is making its way around the award circuit! Last year it won the 2019 Best Natural Beauty Product & Best Innovation & Best Sustainability Champion in Beauty
Awards in New Zealand.
